That's cool, Mike - congrats! What are you printing that you need three machines?
It's my primer catcher for the Lee single stage press. During the depriming process, the primer drops down the inside of the ram, then it is diverted into the red frame where it lands at the bottom. My spacer is about 1 inch thick and raises the press so the gray tray will fit and catch the primers. That's cool, Mike - congrats! What are you printing that you need three machines?
Reloading ammo one step at a time. The die is at the top. It knocks the spent primer out of the case. Switch to the resizing die and resize the case. Again, one at a time. Switch to the loading die, fill the case with correct volume of powder, sit the bullet on top and raise the ram. The bullet will be seated into the case. There are a lot of models that are more progressive and do the steps in multiple pulls of the arm. I have a Lee Loadmaster that will complete a round each time the arm is pulled. I still like this press for some steps, especially resizing rifle cases back to their correct size.Ok, i'm curious now, what's a Lee single stage press used for ?
The last time we talked you told me about that but I just didn't realize you were doing so many that you needed more printing machines - excellent, Mike! It's my primer catcher for the Lee single stage press.
I won't get rich but it helps to buy new toys. The last time we talked you told me about that but I just didn't realize you were doing so many that you needed more printing machines - excellent, Mike!
That must be a standard thing because I've seen videos of rooms with 5 or 6, sometimes more. As long as you can keep them busy and they're not collecting dust then keep adding on to the troops! And I can use the third one for other things while the first two are busy.
