Wow, this is cool. Not much use for one, but still cool.

I'm cringing inside thinking how long this took to print. I may just make a chain mail pattern and see how long it really takes.
lol. At least with my out of the box settings it would take me over 4 days to print 4 layers of chain mail. This is one layer without any edge supports shown in the video. The longest single print I've done so far is just 30 hours.

Don't know if I should try printing this. 12 hours for just a 6 x4 patch of chain mail. Zero use for it.

Has anyone printed chain mail??

I have now had my printer 10 months and a lot of my prints are me experimenting and learning.

Modeling for 3d printing is more challenging than modeling for cnc pattern making. There are a lot more things you have to worry about. I am starting to feel a little bit more comfortable doing it but still not great at it.

lol. Instant fail. I had points touching the plate. It needs a flatter base to adhere to. Need to redesign the pattern.

Taking the L. Tried 4 different times. I keep getting a couple of links not adhering to the bed.

Solution is to play with bed and hot end temp and speed but not interested enough to do so.
