I wanted to make a brush holder for my wife. So I made this draft design. About 6 inches tall.

Any wisdom you wish to share in making each design and a preference for printing?
I am afraid I don't have much wisdom. Still super new at 3d printing.

The first model said it would take twenty some hours to print at 6 inches tall and the second one 8 hours at 6 inches tall. So printed the second one.

These are what I call my 3 minute designs. They literally take less than 3 minutes to make.

Something I learned on one of my latest parts was that I could add webbing in Fusion 360 that would take much longer to print. If I made the part solid, then shell and add webbing in Cura, the part would take advantage of the webbing print speed, much faster due to the internal settings in Cura.
I don't know why but I am having a hard time visualizing what you are saying. Can you post a pic? I am using Cura.

No worries if you can't or busy. Thanks. Funny but really comfortable with cnc pattern making but still have a lot to learn with 3d printing.

I learned Fusion 360 in school (3d animation and VFX) but my brain just doesn't work that way any more after using art 3d modeling software for so long. I primarily use Blender and Zbrush.
And another one I won't print. Software says 30 hours to print. But fun little exercise to get the process done.
